I have always had an interest in art from schooldays especially pencil sketches, and most of all portraits. I didn't do so well in art o' level getting only a C, so i lost confidence and gave it up as a waste of time.
Then when i hit my mid forties i decided to get back to art and chose the oil on canvas medium, i decided to try landscapes and have used the Mourne area of County Down in Nothern Ireland as my inspiration, i built myself a little studio in the garden and am loving every minute of it. The power and freedom it allows you has to be experienced, i hope you have enjoyed looking over my work and thank you for your time.
